Story of Elegance
Welcome! Brrrr…. I don’t know about where you are, but here in Ohio it is cold and snowy. Which is great because, although I’m not an outdoors person during the winter, I still love it because when it’s cold and snowy outside, I get to stay warm and cozy inside. And I have the perfect reason to be in my craft room!
Last Friday, I shared a card using the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. This paper is free with a $50 purchase during SaleABration which runs through February 28th. Touch of Ink Thinking of You
I love the simplicity of this card. It is soft and gentle and super easy to create. Just cardstock, a few simple stamps, a little DSP and you’re ready to go!
A Closer Look
Here’s are steps I used to create this card:
1. Cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of Old Olive card stock.
2. Cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Basic White card stock.
3. Cut a 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. Adhere to the Basic White panel 1/8″ in from the left side of the panel.
4. Stamp the flower and sentiment on the Basic White panel using Old Olive ink. Fill in the remaining white space with random spatter.
5. Add a Basic Pearl to the right of the sentiment.
6. Add a bow made with twine or embroidery thread in a coordinating color. I used craft store embroidery thread.
Add DSP and a stamp to the envelope and this lovely card is ready to share!
