The Story of Elegance

Hi there! Welcome back!  I had a lovely holiday in Connecticut with my family, but as the saying goes, there’s no place like home!  I’m happy to be back in my craft room.  I hope that your Thanksgiving holiday was full of good times and lots of love, too.  Speaking of love, I love the beauty of a fresh snowfall.  (Pssst…. I love it even more when I can enjoy it from the warmth of my home.)   And I love snowmen and snowflakes – my holiday decorations include plenty of both!  So when I needed a quick Thinking of You card to send to a friend, I turned to the beautiful snowflake stamp in the Frosted Foliage stamp set.

Thinking of You card with snowflake background featuring Stampin Up products

Simple Snowflakes

This card is simple, elegant and super easy to make.  What’s not to love, right?  To create this card, I started with a card base of Thick Whisper White card stock.  Next I stamped snowflakes onto Whisper White card stock using Night of Navy ink.  Then I layered the stamped panel onto Night of Navy card stock.  The sentiment panel was stamped using the Thinking of You sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and finished with three Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Winter Snowflake Wishes

This card is an adaptation of the first one.  I added another Rococo Rose snowflake panel.   The sentiment was stamped and die cut using the Merry Christmas to All bundle.   The ribbon is from the Everything Is Rosy product medley which, by the way, is on sale in the Clearance Rack.  Check it out >>>> Clearance Rack
