Hello!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
It’s been quite some time since I last posted. I’m happy to share that my shoulder replacement went well, and I’m on my way to a full recovery.
I’m even happier that I can now resume most activities including spending time in my craft room. I’m still trying to take it easy and not overdo it, but I was able to create another easy and elegant card using products from Lisa Horton Crafts.
Here’s today’s card.

To make this A2 sized card I started by adding a 41/4″ x 5 3/8″ panel of silver cardstor to to the front of the card base.
Then I embossed a 4″ x 5 1/4″ of white card stock using the May Peonies 3D Embossing Folder by Lisa Horton Crafts. This folder is part of a 12 folder set called A Year In Bloom.
Next I used a Dimensional Cutting Pad and the butterfly outline die from the Butterfly Silhouettes Press Plate and Die Set by Lisa Horton Crafts to cut a butterfly into the center of the panel, and adhered the panel to the card front.
To create the silver butterfly I used Heat Resistant Acetate and Silver Foil to heat emboss using the plate from the set and adhered to the butterfly on the card front using foam tape.
The final step was to heat emboss the sentiments onto white card stock, die cut them and add to the card front.
I just love the way the silver peeks through under the butterfly.
Here are a two other cards I made using the Butterfly Silhouettes Press Plate and Die set. This set is so versatile and can be used with both the Better Press System or the Hot Foil System by Spellbinders.
