Front of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog by Stampin' Up!

I have so many favorites in this catalog I hardly know where to start.  It took me awhile, but I finally settled on the new Artistically Inked stamp set  and the GORGEOUS Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper.  When I say GORGEOUS it’s with a triple capital G!

Pictures of this paper really don’t do it justice, but here’s what it looks like.

Expressions in Ink

The gold foiling in this paper is exquisite!  It’s soooo pretty!  You know how, I love a little bling and this paper brings it!

Here is the super simple, but elegant card that I made.  It’s so easy because the paper does all the work.

As much as I love making cards, most of the time I don’t have a lot of time to devote to card making.  With Stampin’ Up! products, that is rarely a problem.  I can always find something to use to create beautiful and elegant cards quickly.  I think that’s one of the things that drew me to this paper.  It’s so pretty and it can be the focus of the card, so I don’t have to spend a lot of time creating something that I’m happy to share.

Elegance Made Easy

Making this card was a breeze.  I simply cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 7/8″ panel of Gold Foil.  Then I cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of DSP.

The segment of the Designer Series paper that I chose to work with had a lovely space that I felt was perfect for a sentiment, so I  decided to stamp the sentiment directly onto the paper.   A heat-embossed sentiment seemed like a logical choice.  I used  Versamark to stamp the sentiment from the Artiscally Inked stamp set, and heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  The embossing matches the foiling perfectly.  I adhered the embossed panel to the gold foil and then to a card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.  Then I added a few craft store gold rhinestones that I had on hand.

To finish the project a added a piece of the DSP to the envelope flap.  I have a beautiful card that I’m proud to give to anyone.Thank you card and coordinating envelope made with Stampin' Up! productsAll dressed up and ready to send.
