Story of Elegance

Hello and Happy Friday!

Tuesday I shared two cards and a gift box from my August stamp club.  Today I’m sharing the other three cards I created last month for the class.  Like the others, these cards used the Color & Contour bundle, Tailored Tag punch, Blackberry Beauty DSP and Ephemera Pack, and a few  goodies I had hanging around.   Our club meets online every other month on Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours of fun crafting together.

Here are the cards.

August Stamp Club Card 3

This one uses a piece of the Blackberry Beauty DSP as the background and a piece from the Ephemera pack.  Super easy.

Here’s a closer look.  The little touches of gold foil in the paper is exquisite.

The Rhinestone Basic Jewels  were colored with the Bronze Stamping Blends to coordinate with the color palate of the card.

A bit of DSP on the envelope flap to finish this project.

August Stamp Club Card 4

This is another card that was super easy using the Color & Contour bundle, and the Tailored Tag punch.  I like black and white cards and the Daffodil Delight adds a nice pop of color on the Beautifully Penned DSP.  You can get this DSP FREE with a $50 purchase during SALE-a-bration!

With this close-up you can see all the texture and dimension of this bright and cheery card.  The Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and Basic Rhinestone Jewels add just a touch of bling.

The final card mixes the old and the new.  I used the Color & Contour bundle and the retired Golden Garden Designer Series Acetate.  The flowers in the acetate reminded me of the flower in the stamp set, so of course I had to put them together.

August Stamp Club Card 5

The gold in the acetate pairs perfectly with the gold embossing.  Simple, easy and elegant.

The Stampin’ Dimensionals add a little depth to this sleek card.

I don’t do it often, but I think the heat embossing on the envelope and flap work wonderfully for this card.
