Story of Elegance

Friday is here.  Yay!

I hope that your week was fantastic and that an even greater weekend lies ahead for us all.

I never like to let anything go to waste, so today I’m sharing a card I made using some of the leftover bits from the card I shared on Tuesday.

Greeting card made with Stampin' Up! products

A Simple Hello

This card uses a strip of the Pattern Party Host Designer Series paper that I colored.

Simple Coloring Tools

Elegance Made Easy

To recreate this card, emboss a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhere to a card base made with Thick Basic white card stock.

Use the Stitched Rectangles dies to die cut a rectangle in Cajun Craze card stock.  Add to the center of the embossed panel.

Cut a strip of colored Designer Series paper to 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to the card atop the die cut.

Stamp the sentiment  using Memento Black ink and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies.   I used a sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set.  Adhere the sentiment using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few bits of the colored DSP to the inside of the card as well.

I embossed the envelope flap to coordinate with card and the project is complete.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope that you have a blessed, beautiful and safe weekend.  I’ll be back on Tuesday with another card to share.

Until then,

Live Graciously!
