Hello!
Happy Wednesday to you!
Midweek Crafting Inspiration: Camelia Cluster
As I was digging through my stash looking for products I haven’t used, I came across one of the first Lisa Horton Crafts that I ever purchased, the Camelia Cluster.
It’s such a beautiful set of products that I couldn’t push it aside. I figured, it deserves to be seen again.
This lovely 6 x 6 embossing folder is a beautiful one and so easy to create with.
Creating Today’s Card
For today’s card, I paired the 3D Embossing Folder and Stencils with several of inks from Lisa Horton Crafts to create a simple design.
The Finished Card
Here’s the card I created using these products.

To make this A2 sized card, I started by inking a 5″ x 5″ panel using the Camellia Cluster Layering Stencils and these inks: Merry Mistletoe, Jingleberry, Mulled Wine, Helen Teal, and Lagoon Punch.
Then I dry embossed the inked panel using the Camellia Cluster 3D Embossing folder.
Next I cut the panel in half at an angle and mounted onto a 5 1/4″ square of dark brown card stock. Then I adhered the panel to a 6″ square card base made with white card stock.
For the sentiment I used a a sentiment from the Happy Vibes craft stamps that I inked with Coffee Bean ink and mounted onto the card front with foam tape.
To finish, I added some Smoky Topaz Essential Gems by Spellbinders on either side of the sentment and in the center of the small flowers.

Beautiful cards. I enjoy using embossing folders. I like doing the black out ones that you color the debossed side and then wipe over with your black ink pad.
Thank you Kaye! I’m so glad to know that you like them. I don’t often get feedback, so I truly appreciate that you took the time to do so. I like that black out technique too. It’s amazing to me how that works. I’ve even tried it with dark brown and navy. Both turned out great. Have a great day!
Lovely card, Sheryl! I think 5×5 cards are elegant & I love how you showcased this beautiful stencil set. The bit of blue makes the card pop!
Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Karen! I love this set so much. I was surprised when I gathered the products that I haven’t used. I have some that I bought to challenge myself and I haven’t done that yet. Those are still on the bottom of the pile. 🙂
Have a wonderful day!
