Wednesday was a crazy busy day for me, so I had I do divert to a card that I made a couple of weeks ago to share.
This card was sitting on the back shelf because it was a bit of an “oopsie.”
I had intended to only round the corners of my background paper, but I accidentally punched a design before I rounded the corners.
I decided that instead of just pitching the card I would continue on with my planned design.
I’m thankful that I decided to keep this card because it gave me a card to share in a pinch.
Here’s the card.
To make this A2 sized card I started by rounding the corners of a 41/4″ x 5 3/8″ panel of patterned paper from Lisa Horton Crafts download papers. I then added the panel to the front of the card base.
Then I inked a piece of white card stock using Mojito, Sunshine and Lovestruck Metallics inks by Lisa Horton Crafts.
Using the Compsitions Set A Flowers and Leaves die set by Lisa Horton Crafts, I die cut the inked background and added it to the card front.
I inked a small piece of white card stock in Lovestruck Metallic Ink and used the dies to cut the flower petals. I stacked the petals using foam squares to add to the create the flowr and added to the die cut panel using a foam square.
Next I used the die set and the digital download from the Composition Set A to create the sentiment.
The final step was to add a Spellbinders Opal Color Essential embellishment to the flower center.
This card was so easy to create and even with my “oopsie”, I still think it’s a cute little note card.
