Story of Elegance

Welcome!  Thank you for stopping by today.

As you may know, many wonderful products will be leaving the line next week.  So I’ve been crafting with a few of my favorites before they are gone.

Today, I’m showcasing the Flowering Blooms bundle.  I love this set for so many reasons, but the biggest reason is that I can quickly create a simple, elegant card easily.  That is the trifecta of fun for me.

Did you know that you can get the Flowering dies that coordinate with this adorable Flowering Blooms stamp set for $7.75 during the Last Chance Sale?  They normally sold for $31.00.  Talk about a BARGAIN!  This is a HUGE savings.

Here’s a look at another I made using this set earlier in the stamping year:

Flowering Blooms Card

And here is the card that I made for this post:

Thank you card made with Stampin' Up! products

Farewell to Flowering Blooms

This card came together very easily.  I stamped the three flowers onto a  4 ” x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock.  I die cut the trim and added it to the bottom of the panel, trimming off the excess with Paper Snips.  Then I stamped the sentiment in the same So Saffron ink as the flowers.    I added the completed panel to a 4 1/8″ x 5 5/8″ piece of So Saffron card stock., and then to the card base made of Thick Basic White card stock.  The final step was to add Pearl Basic Jewels to the flowers, trim and sentiment.

It’s always nice to add a sweet stamped image to the inside of the card, and this stamp worked perfectly.

In adherence to my No Naked Envelopes policy, I added a stamp to the envelope front and flap. 🙂
