Story of Elegance
Happy Tuesday!
I hope you are having a lovely week so far.
Here’s a quick card I made recently using the Hey You XL sentiments dies by Lisa Horton Crafts. These dies are available as a Lisa’s Pick of the Week bundle on her website this week. These versatile dies are great for a quick and easy card.
Here’s the card I made:
Elegance Made Easy
Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.
Cut a panel of light purple card stock to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and layer a dark purple panel of card stock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ atop and add to the front of an A2 card base.
Use the dies from the Nested Scalloped/Plain Stitched Squares die set to cut one scalloped square in light purple and two plain squares in white. Add the scalloped and larger square to the card front.
Lightly ink the corners of the smallest square using Velvet Shimmer interference ink and add to the card front using foam tape.
Color a panel of white card stock using Velvet Shimmer interference ink and die cut the sentiment with the Hey You XL sentiment and a small flower from the Layered Anemone die set.
Assemble the flower with glue and add the flower and sentiment to the card front.
Finish by adding silver beads if desired.
Super easy!
Thanks again for stopping by.
I’ll be sharing another card demonstation on my You Tube channel (@elegantsentiments) on Thursday this week. Not sure if I’ll be live but I will post a video at the same time Thursday at 7:00pm EST if I’m not live. I hope you’ll check it out!
Have a fantastic week!
Until next time,
Live Graciously!
