Story of Elegance
Hello and happy Wednesday!
I hope that you’re having a great week.
I’ve received the new Special Edition Metallic Inks by Lisa Horton Crafts and I used them to ink up the Rose Butterfly stencil for today’s project.
I think I read that these inks have sold out in less than a week at here in the US, if so, hopefully they’ll be back in stock soon. Look for them wherever you buy your crafts and if you don’t see Lisa Horton Crafts products, ask for them!
These inks are beautiful and you definitely want to have them in your craft stash.
Here’s the card I made:
The camera really doesn’t do this card justice. There is a beautiful shimmer on the inked images. So pretty.
Elegance Made Easy
Here are the directions to create this 5 x 7 card.
Cut a panel of white card stock to 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and use the Rose Butterfly Stencils and Premium Dye Based Metallic Pigment Ink to color the image. I used Solid Gold (butterfly wings), Copper Pot (leaves) and Silver Shine (roses and butterly wings and body).
Use the Rose Butterfly Embossing Folder by Lisa Horton Crafts to emboss the inked image.
Stamp the sentiment using the Best Mini Sentiments set by Lisa Horton Crafts using Cloud 9 Solid Black ink. If desired use a black pen to add dotted triangles around the sentiment.
Add the completed panel to a silver mat and then to the card front.
Super easy and oh so lovely!
Thanks again for stopping by.
I will be sharing a new project live tomorrow at 7:00pm EST on my YouTube channel. I hope that you’ll join me!
Have a fantastic remainder of your week!
Until next time,
Live Graciously!
