Story of Elegance

Happy Tuesday and thanks for stopping by!

I still haven’t had time to get to my craft room, but I’m sharing a card that I made a couple of weeks ago using one of the new products from the Lisa Horton Crafts Christmas 2024 release called Snowflake Stencils and Dies.

This product has everything you need to create wonderful holiday or winter-themed cards.  You have the stencils to make a beautiful snowflake and dies to cut both the snowflake and sentiments.

It’s a great set.

Here’s one of many of the cards I made.

I really like the blue and purple together on this card.  It’s a fun one to make.

The set has two layering stencils, an outline stencil and die and three senitment dies with shadow dies.

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.

On a 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of vellum ink the back in the two colors of your choice  ( I used Lisa Horton Crafts Cloud 9 Premium Dye-based Matt Blending Inks in Deep Ocean and Sweet Violet.)

On a 6″ square piece of white card stock , use the solid stencil to ink the color(s) you want to serve as the base color of your snowflake.

On the inked snowflake, ink the detail stencil with Versamark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder and die cut the snowflake.

Add the completed snowflake to the front of the vellum panel.

Ink a scrap piece of white card stock with ink and die cut the sentiments.

Die cut the sentiment outlines in white card stock, and add to the vellum panel.

Add the vellum panel to a 5 1/4″ square of white card stock and add to a 6″ square card base using foam tape.

Embellish with gems if desired.  I used Prism Color Essential Gems by Spellbinders.

Thanks again for stopping by.

The jury is out on my live for this week, because of the holiday and other things I have going on, but I’ll definitely be posting here on Friday.

I hope you’ll stop by again.

Have a wonderful holiday!

Until next time,

Live Graciously!
