Story of Elegance

Good Friday morning to you!  For many of you it’s a long weekend.  Woo hoo!!

Today’s card showcases the Many Layered Blossoms die set that coordinated with the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set from my last post (June 30, 2020.)   These dies make lovely flowers in a flash!

Many Layered Blossoms Congratulations card

There is a ton of texture on this card and I love it!   Here’s what I did to create it.

Step 1: Emboss the background panel using our new  Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder.

Step 2: Die cut flower base in Soft Sea Foam card stock and flower outline in Silver Foil paper.  Glue them together.  I snipped the flower to fit onto my card base and my design.

Step 3: Die cut the sentiment panel ( 1 3/4 x 3 3/4)  in Soft Sea Foam card stock using a die from the Ornate Layers dies and adhere to the panel.

Step 4:  Use the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment on the sentiment panel.  ♥ Tip: Use a piece of acetate over your sentiment panel and complete a practice stamp to ensure your stamp is properly aligned.  This is particularly helpful when stamping onto your nearly completed piece ans when using scripted font sentiments.  The acetate can be wiped off and you can adjust and re-stamp as many times as you need.  When your stamp is aligned where you want it, remove the acetate and stamp as usual.

Step 5: Cut a strip of Silver metallic edged ribbon and adhere to the top of the sentiment panel.

Step 6: Adhere the assembled flower to the panel.

Step 7:  Adhere the completed panel to the card base and add Clear Expoy Droplets (from the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets) to accent.

Emboss a coordinating Whisper White envelope and the ensemble is completed!
