Hello and Happy Wednesday.

I trust that you are making the best of the day, whatever your day has wrought.  After all, there nothing more we can do than make the best of what we have wouldn’t you say?

I’m happy to have a tiny bit of time to create a quick card and share it with you today.

The lovely Meadow of Sweet Peas was still on my desk asking to be used, so I picked it up and did just that.

Here’s the card I made:

Yes, I did tear that corner of the paper when I took off the tape (ugh!)  but I am sharing my card any way and will certainly use it.  I’m trying hard to rid myself of feeling the need to be absolutely perfect…… It’s neither helpful nor healthy.. 😉

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.

Use a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of heavy white card stock and use one of the scalloped dies from the Nested Scalloped/Plain Stitched Squares to die cut the ‘flap’ by angling the die at the top of the panel to cut.

Set the die cut aside and use the remaining portion of the panel to stencil the floral pattern using the Meadow of Sweet Pea stencils and Matt Blending inks by Lisa Horton crafts.  I used Dusky Rose, Jingleberry, Spiced Plum and Eucalyptus Leaves.

Add the stenciled panel to the front of an A2 card base.

Add the die cut ‘flap’ to the top of the card base using foam squares.

Create the sentiment using the smaller shadow die and the sentiment die from the A Little Hello Sentiments stamp and die cutting set.

Add the sentiment to the ‘flap’ and embellish (if desired) and you’re done!
