Story of Elegance

Happy Friday ya’ll!  I love mixing and matching.  It’s fun to do with clothing, food and even crafting.  I think it can make things more interesting and almost always leads to something new and different.  Today I’m mixing and matching stamp sets.  Shock and surprise.  RIght?  There are so many good things about Stampin’ Up! products the quality, the variety, and they mix and match so well together.  I think it adds even more value to every purchase.

For my card I chose the sentiment from Seriously The Best, leaves from Layered with Kindness and a muted rose from First Frost. My color inspiration is Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Sahara Sand.  (My subconscious may have been at play here, as I’m longing for Spring and Summer!)

Mix ‘n Match Friendship Card

A friendship greeting card and envelope made with Stampin' Up! products

If you look closely, you can see that the black panel is sitting atop a panel of Whisper White cardstock that I embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder.  (I didn’t want this panel to be quite so subtle.  ha ha)  This panel is 4 x 5 1/4 .  If I had it to do over again, I’d make it 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so it would be a little more visible.  But I like it the way that it is, and I’m sure that my friend who get this won’t mind a bit!

Card crafting is such a fun and relaxing undertaking.  I don’t know about you, but with everything going on these days, I  appreciate having something that takes me away from the cares for a little while.  If you haven’t tried card crafting, you should. I’m sure you’ll love it!
Thanks for stopping by!  I’ll be back on Tuesday with more card fun.  I hope you’ll have a wonderful stress free weekend.  Until next week,
