Happy Friday! Yay! We made it!

This week, we’ve had one Sneak Peek and a Blog Hop, so let’s sail into the weekend with another Sneak Peek of products that will join the line next month with the launch of our new Annual Catalog.

I chose the title because it represents the name of one of the products I’m sharing – Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper, but also because there are so many teenie weenie peeks in today’s card, it’s like a dream! 🙂

For today’s card I used the following new products :

Design A Daydream Designer Series Paper (background panel)
Fabulous Frames die set (oval frame around flower)
Stylish Shapes die set (offset square)
Sending Smiles Bundle – comprised of the Sending Smiles stamp set and Sending die set (sentiment)
Nature’s Print stamp set (center flower)

Here is the card I made:

I think the color combination in this DSP is absolutely gorgeous, and it makes it incredibly easy to create a lovely card. Just mimic the colors of the DSP. My team leader Lynn Kolcun knows that I struggle with color combinations, so she gave me this super tip. Thanks Lynn!

Here’s the color palate in the paper and a closer look at the card I created. (Even though I didn’t add any Daffodil Delight to the card, you can still see it in the background.)

Even though the picture doesn’t show it, there is lovely detail in the Blackberry Bliss frame around the flower and the inner stitching in the oval mirrors the stitching in the offset square.

I’d also like to point out that the Design A Daydream Designer Series paper is a Host Reward item and contains 48 sheets of 12 x 12 DSP; 4 each of 12 double-sided designs. They are all so pretty, I couldn’t decide which to showcase first so I literally closed my eyes and picked the one my finger landed on! How’s that for a high tech design process?
