Happy Friday!
As I’m sure you’ve heard, today is launch day for our new July-December 2022 mini catalog. I’m finishing out the week with the Splendid Thoughts bundle and the beautiful Splendid Day foil Designer Series Paper (DSP) that are both featured in the catalog.
There are so many fun products, I’m excited to start working with them.
Here is today’s card.
It’s difficult to photograph foil, and even though the picture doesn’t do it justice, the paper is really striking.
A Closer Look
On the inside of the card I added a strip of the foil DSP to coordinate.
Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Splendid Day DSP – 4″ x 5 1’4″ , 3″ x 4″ angle cut and die cut with Artisan Additions die
- Fresh Freesia card stock – 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- Die cuts:
- Bowl die from the Splendid Day die set using Basic White card stock
- Leaf dies (3) from the Splendid Day die set using Basic White card stock
Layer the larger DSP panel with the Fresh Freesia panel, and then the angle cut DSP. Add the die cut leaves and the bowl. Wrap a strip of Fresh Freesia Open weave Ribbon around the combined panel and add to an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.
Stamp the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink onto a scrap of Basic White card stock. Fussy cut the sentiment and add to the card using Mini Dimensionals.
Finish by adding a bow and Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front and stamp the envelope flap and front as desired.
