Story of Elegance
Hello!
Happy Tuesday, almost Wednesday.
It’s been a crazy few days but I was determined to get my card made and posted today. I barely made it, but I made it!
I had several items laying on my craft table, so I just went with what was out. I ended up using the Cup of Tea stamp set, the Handmade Tag punch, and Artisan Additions dies. I think that I’ll get lots of use of these last two products throughout the year.
Here’s how these products came together.
I don’t often make my own Designer Series Paper, but a little tone on tone stamping gives interest to the cardstock, and I love the new ribbon!
Of course I did a little coordinated stamping on the inside of the card.
Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Basic White Card stock – 4″ x 5 1’4″ emboss using the Fern 3D embossing folder
- Soft Seafoam card stock – 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- Die cuts:
- Corner die from the Artisan Addition die set using Basic White card stock
- Punch 1 tags using the Handmade Tag punch using Basic White card stock
Layer an A2 card base made of Thick Basic White card stock with the Basic White embossed panel.
Use the leaf stamps from the A Cup of Tea stamp set to stamp leaves onto the Soft Seafoam panel using Soft Seafoam ink.
Add Soft Seafoam Seam Binding Ribbon across the stamped panel and add the corner die cut before placing on the card base.
Stamp the sentiment onto the punched tag and add to the center.
Complete by stamping the inside panel and the envelope front and flap; then add a bow and Pearl Basic Jewels.
You can shop with me anytime to create your own fantastic projects! Of course you’ll have to wait until Friday to get the Punch and Ribbon that I used. 😉
Until then,
Live Graciously!
