Of course, I had to get started by using products from the new mini-catalog. I have a few favorites already. Today’s card features the Around the Bend Bundle, Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper and Iridescent Pastel Gems.

Here’s the card I made:

The papers in the Fitting Florets are so pretty and I love the unique stiched dies that are part of the Around The Bend die set. There’s just so much to love in these products.

A Closer Look

Elegance Made Easy

Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.

First, make your cuts:

Soft Succulent card stock – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
Basic White card stock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Fitting Florets DSP – 4″ x 5 1/4″ – die cut to create the floral edging
Die cuts:
- Flowers and leaves usng Soft Succulent and Balmy Blue card stock
- As noted

Layer the Soft Succulent panel onta an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock. Note: An A2 card base is made by scoring an 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of card stock scored and folded at 5 1/4″.

Layer the DSP panel onto the Basic White panel and add to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Around the Bend stamp set using Night of Navy ink onto a piece of Basic White card stock and die cut using the stitched curve die from the Around the Bend die set. Adhere the stamped sentiment onto the card front.

Assemble the leaves and flowers and arrange around the sentiment attaching with glue dots.

Add Iridescent Pastel Gems to the centers of the flowers.

To complete the project, cover the envelope flap with matching DSP.
