Story of Elegance
Hello! It’s Tuesday and today I get to celebrate my lovely granddaughter who turns 15 today. She loves pink, so of course Maw-Maw had to make her a pink birthday card!
I used several products on this card, but no worries, like most of my cards, this one is very easy to make. I used the tiny floral stamp from the Art In Bloom stamp set, dies from Ornate Layers dies and a sentiment from the Sharing Sunshine stamp set to make a sweet, pink birthday card.
Here’s the card I’m sharing today.

Happy Birthday with Art In Bloom

A Closer Look
A little ink, a little texture, and a little bling all in our new 2021-2023 In Color – Polished Pink!
Elegance Made Easy
To make this Polished Pink prize, start with a layer of Polished Pink card stock cut to 4 1/8″ by 5 3/8″ . Then stamp a 4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Basic White with the small flower stamp from the Art In Bloom stamp set; lightening the color of the ink by stamping off once and then two times. Adhere the stamped panel to the Polished Pink panel.
The make the sentiment panel, die cut the sentiment background using a die from the Ornate Layers die set in Polished Pink card stock and then stamp the sentiment from Sharing Sunshine in Polished Pink onto a piece of Basic White card stock and cut using the rectangle die from the same set. Adhere the two pieces together and then to the card.
Cut a 6 inch length of Polished Pink Open Weave ribbon down the middle to create two pieces and add a piece of white ribbon using the 3 strands to create a bow. Add the bow to the corner of the sentiment panel using a Mini Glue Dot.
For a little bling, color Rhinestone Basic Jewels using Dark Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend and adhere to the card, following the arc of the stamped flowers.
Finish things off by stamping flowers onto the the envelope front and flap to match and this sweet beauty is done!
