Story of Elegance
Happy Friday!! I’m enjoying the cooler weather (well, less than smoldering weather) and the break from the rain. I hope you are too!
I couldn’t pull myself away from the Gilded Autumn Designers Series Paper just yet, so, I used another of the patterns along with the new Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set for my card today.
Here are these beautiful papers again….
Today I paired another of the foiled papers with Very Vanilla.
Here’s a closer look at the beautiful foiling on the paper. Isn’t it lovely?
Often I will stamp or use Designer Series Paper on the inside of the card. Here’s what I did for the interior of this card. Just a simple strip of DSP makes a nice added touch.
Here’s how I created this card:
1: Cut a 1″ x 5 1/4″ strip of DSP and adhere to the left side of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Very Vanilla card stock.
2: Cut a 3 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock and emboss with the Greenery embossing Folder. Adhere to the panel with the DSP.
3: Stamp Thank You sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Cinnamon Cider on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Use a die from Layering Ovals die set to cut the sentiment.
4: Die cut leaves in Copper Foil (2) and Very Vanilla (1) card stock. Add a few twists of Copper thread and adhere to the back of the sentiment. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to back of the sentiment panel and adhere to the card in between the embossed leaves.
5: Adhere 3 Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment panel.
