Good morning and Happy Launch Day! Yes! Today is the launch of our new August -December 2020 Mini-Catalog!! As you can expect from Stampin’ Up! our new catalog is loaded with high quality, fabulous holiday products. And there are a few returning favorites too!
Over the coming weeks I’ll be showcasing some of these fantastic products. Today I’m featuring one of the patterns in the new Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper is simply stunning and they contain tons of foiled accents – perfect for adding a little bling to your creations. Gotta love that!

These papers just scream Fall (one of my favorite times of the year) and I’m so excited to start crafting with them.
I like the color inspiration in these papers and I chose these three for today’s card.
Gilded Autumn DSP Birthday
The foiling on the leaves is so pretty and delicate. My camera just doesn’t do it justice. Here’s a closer look.
One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up! is that you can continue to use the products long after they are no longer available for purchase. The shelf life of our non-consumables last as long as you choose to keep them and use them. I keep many of my favorites and continue to use them long after they have retired. I used these retired products for today’s card. Rest assured that when you buy a Stampin’ Up! stamp, punch or embossing folder, you’ve got a wonderful tool to create for years to come! I just love mixing the old with the new!
Some of the products used in today’s card
Here’s how I created this card:
1: Layer a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of DSP onto a panel of 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of Cinnamon Cider card stock and adhere to a Thick Very Vanilla card stock base.
2: Adhere a 2 1/8″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Cinnamon Cider card stock to the center of the DSP panel.
3: Stamp Happy Birthday sentiment from the Layered with Kindness stamp set in Cinnamon Cider on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Use the Label Me Lovely punch to create the sentiment.
4: Use the Label me Lovely punch to punch 2 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock, one piece of Cinnamon Cider card stock and one piece of Gilded Autumn DSP. Cut each of the punched pieces in half on the flat side. (See picture above.) Layer the Cinnamon Cider and Very Vanilla cut pieces to the top and bottom of the sentiment. Adhere the layered sentiment to the center of the Cinnamon Cider strip. Layer the cut pieces of Very Vanilla card stock and DSP and adhere to the top and bottom of the sentiment strip. This creates the appearance of a pocket for the sentiment strip. How cute is that?!
5: Adhere 2 Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment panel.
Add coordinating DSP to the envelope flap and it’s ready to go!
