Story of Elegance

Hello and Welcome!  Thank you for stopping by.  I’m continuing this week to share cards from the August InKing Royal card challenge.  Today I’m sharing card 8 of the 15 day challenge.

My card features our new Boho Indigo Product Medley kit.   Look at all the fabulous product you get with this kit.  I didn’t think I was a blue person, but this kit changed that for sure.  These patterns are wonderful!

I only needed to add my card base, Night of Navy card stock/ink and an envelope to make this lovely card.

A Closer Look

Here’s how I created this card:

1: Cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 1/8 ” piece of Night of Navy card stock and adhere to a Thick Very Vanilla card stock  card base.

2:  Cut a 2 1/4″ x 5 5/8″ pieces of embossed card stock from the Medley.  Adhere to left side of the Night of Navy panel.  Leaving a 1/4″ gap from the edge.

3: Cut a 3/4″ x 5 3/8″ piece of DSP from the Medley and adhere to the embossed card stock.  I placed slightly off center, but you can place it based on preference.

4: Stamp the flower pot from the Medley onto Very Vanilla card stock in Night of Navy and die cut.  Estimate the placement of the floral stamp onto a 2 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock

5: Based on the estimate of the vase, stamp the leaves onto the card stock piece in Night of Navy ink.  Adhere the stamped panel to the card.  Adhere the  die cut flower pot.

6: Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink using the stamp and sentiment panel from the Medley.

7. Adhere the sentiment panel and the flowers to the card.
