Midweek Crafting Inspiration: Bow & Bell Scallop Frame
I made this card early in the week with the intention of creating my blog for an early post today. So much for intentions 🙂
But I am happy to share a card that I made using the Bow & Bell Scallop Frame die set.
I’m continuing to use products in my stash that I have never used or elements within them that I haven’t used.
Creating Today’s Card
For today’s card, I’m departing from my florals to showcase a beautiful new metallic ink that I have along with other products.
I like experimenting with different product combinations to see what I can come up.
That was the approach that I took for the card I made. I started with Frosted Icicles Metallic Ink, then added the Scalloped Circles Stencil and finished with the Christmas Sentiments Stamp & Die Cutting Set – all from Lisa Horton Crafts.
The Finished Card
Here’s the card I created using these products.
To make this A2 sized card, I started by using the Scalloped Circles stencil to ink a background using Frosted Icicles metallic ink onto white card stock.
I die cut the inked panel with the scallop die from the die set and added it to an A2 card base made of white card stock using foam adhesive sheet.
The topper was created using layers cut from Silver Foil and white card stock using the two smallest rectangle dies from the set.
From an inked scrap of white card stock, silver card stock and white card stock, I die cut and assembled the pieces and added them to the card front.
For the sentiment I used a sentiment from the kit and and mounted with foil onto the card front.
I completed the project by adding Color Essential Gems by Spellbinders.
Super easy and elegant.
