Story of Elegance

Hello and Happy Wednesday.

My day didn’t go quite like I planned, but I’m happy that I was able to eek out a bit of time to post a card that I made.

For today’s card, I’m continuing to share cards that I made not too long ago using the lovely Essential Holiday Collection by Lisa Horton Crafts for Spellbinders.

This card uses the same design as the card that I made on Friday, but showcases how easy it is to get a differnt look with simple changes becaude of the versatility of the collection.

Here’s the card I made:

Elegance Made Easy

Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.

Emboss a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ panel of teal card stock using the Snowflake Flurry embossing folder by Lisa Horton Crafts and add to the front of an A2 card base made with white card stock..

Using white card stock die cut using the large die from the Nested Tree Frame die set.

Hot foil the snowflake panel from the Holiday Background Panel Press Plates onto white card stock using Silver foil.  Die cut the panel using a die from the Essential Nested Rectangle die set.

Add the foiled and die cut panel to the die cut frame.  Add a strip of silver ribbon to the frame at the lower third of the panel and add to the card front using foam tape.

Using the Festive Circle Sentiments Better Press Plate and die set, hot foil and cut the sentiment using Silver foil.   Die cut a shadow for the sentiment using teal card stock.  Adhere the foiled sentiment to the shadow die cut using foam squares.

Glue the sentiment onto the card front and add a bow made with silver ribbon.

Thanks again for stopping by.

I will back again next Wednesday with another card to share.
