Story of Elegance
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Basic White card stock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 4 x 5 1/4″
- Die cuts:
- Use the larger Basic White panel that has been prepared with gilding polish and cut using the largest die in the Scalloped Contours die set.
- Cut an oval into the center of the polished die cut panel.
- Use scalloped oval dies to cut the Flight and Airy DSP and a Balmy Blue oval. Note: The blue in the DSP is Boho Blue so you can use that as well.
Adhere the die-cut polished panel to the front of A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock using pieces of Foam Adhesive Sheet. (Note: An A2 card base is made by cutting an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Thick card stock in half on the long side. Score the 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ (half sheet) of card stock at 4 1/4 “.)
Next, layer the DSP oval onto the cardstock and add to the center opening in the panel.
Add a sentiment of your choice and a bow made with Silver & White Sheer Ribbon.
For the inside, add a strip of DSP to the base of the second Basic White panel and adhere to the inside of the card.
Complete the project by add DSP to the envelope flap to coordinate.
