Story of Elegance
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Thank you for stopping by!
I hope that you had a safe and peaceful day of remembrance yesterday and maybe even had a chance to craft a little kindness.
That certainly describes my day yesterday. It was a quiet, reflective day and I was able to spend time in my craft room which always delights me.
Yesterday I created several cards with the same colors and design using the Floribunda Petal Envelope embossing folder and coordinating stencils both by Lisa Horton Crafts and a foiled sentiment using Spellbinders Hot Foil System and Matte Gold foil. The ink colors are also Lisa Horton.
Here’s the card I created:
Elegance Made Easy
Here are the directions to create this A2 sized card.
Cut a panel of white card stock to 4 ” x 5 1/4″ and ink blend the edges using Garden Sage ink. Add the inked panel to A2 card base made with heavy white card stock.
Then, cut a panel of smooth white card stock to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and add a hot foiled and die cut sentiment to the top of the panel.
Next, use the Floribunda Petal Envelope stencils to stencil the image on the lower portion of the sentiment panel. I used Garden Sage, Rhubarb Jam, Straw Hat and Dolphin Grey ink on the stencils to complete the image.
Emboss the panel using the Floribunda Petal Envelope embossing folder and add to the card front.
Finish by adding colored pearls to the card. I used Spellbinders Fashion Bella embellishments.
Here are two other cards I made using the same products – just finished them differently.
This one uses a white background panel and the sentiment on the embossed panel is foiled directly onto the panel before it is stenciled. The embossed panel is added to the card front using foam tape.
This last card uses a Dolphin Grey background panel, and the sentiment is added in Rhubarb Jam ink and a Better Press plate to add to the panel before it is stenciled.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
