I hope that you had a fantastic week. I’m putting away some of my favorites that are retiring on Monday, so I thought I would take one last chance to play with the flowers in Framed Florets. I didn’t have a lot of time to craft, so I needed something I could pull together quickly. I paired the stamp set with the Elegant Borders dies and I was done in a flash.

Again today, I’m using Boho Blue from the new 2023-2025 In Colors.

Here’s the card I made:

This cute little card is so easy to make, and a little heat embossing adds an extra touch of special.

For the inside of card, I used a the floral stamp to coordinate and a sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set that is carrying over to the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

A Closer Look

Elegance Made Easy

Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.

First, make your cuts:

Boho Blue card stock – 4 ” x 5 1/4″
2023-2035 In Color 6×6 DSP (Boho Blue) – 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
Die cuts:
- Use the Elegant Borders die to cut one side of the Boho Blue card stock panel
Punches:
- None

Add the Boho Blue card stock panel to the front of an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock. Note: An A2 card base is made by scoring a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of card stock scored and folded at 4 1/4″.

Add the strip of the DSP to top of the die cut panel on the card front.

Stamp the flowers in Boho Blue ink onto a scrap of Basic White card stock; die cut or fussy cut if you don’t have the retired dies and add to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment in Versa Mark onto a scrap of Basic White card stock and heat emboss using Silver embossing powder. Trim the paper to the sentiment and add to the card front.

Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels as desired.

To complete the project, stamp a flower on the envelope front and add DSP to the envelope flap to coordinate.
