But before you do, read on.

Today, I’m playing with two of the new bundles (stamp set and die combos) – Countryside Corners and Timeless Arrangements.   I’m also featuring one of our new In Colors Moody Mauve.

If you’re a Buckeye like I am, you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Countryside Corners Bundle.  Do you see ‘BLOCK O’ in today’s card?  Just change the color scheme to Real Red and Basic Gray and you’re there!

Here’s the card I made:

The dies really make this card.  From the stackable leaves from the Timeless Arrangements, to the elongated octagons of  Countryside Corners, this card is easy and elegant.

A Closer Look

Elegance Made Easy

Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.

First, make your cuts:

  • Moody Mauve card stock  – 4 1/4″ x 5 3/8″  – dry embossed using Basics 3D embossing folder
  • Basic White – 4″ x 5 1/4″  – Stamp the Countryside Corners stamp onto this piece using Moody Mauve ink
  • Die cuts:
    • Use the Countryside Corners dies to cut the stamped image as shown (3 pieces)
    • Use the Timeless Arrangement dies to cut grouped flora in Moody Mauve, Old Olive, and Soft Sea Foam, a leaf trio in Soft Sea Foam cardstock. and flower stamped with Moody Mauve ink
  • Punches:
    • None

Add the embossed Moody Mauve card stock panel to the front of an A2 card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.  Note:  An A2 card base is made by scoring a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of card stock scored and folded at 4 1/4″.

Add the two die cut octagons to the Moody Mauve panel.

Stack and glue the die cut flora together.

Stamp the sentiment in Old Olive ink onto the center die cut rectangle.  Add the die cut flora to the back of the rectangle and adhere the assembled sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add the die cut flower to the the corner of the sentiment panel and add a bow if desired.

Place Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels around the inner octagon.

To complete the project, stamp a flower on the envelope front and flap to coordinate.
