Story of Elegance

It’s Friday ya’ll! Woo hoo!! Of course, I’m retired so I can “woo hoo!” every day! I’m continuing to craft with the Flowering Foils designer series paper that will be released on March 3rd. I REALLY like this paper. It’s so dag-gone pretty! I’ve prepared two cards to share today featuring another of the designs in the collection.

Here is the color palate for today’s cards. I really like the light and airy feel of this combination of colors .

Coastal Cabana

Basic Gray

Silver Foil

For the first card, I placed a panel of Silver foil onto a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock. I layered a strip of Flowering Foil DSP onto the foil. Next, I die cut the flower and sentiment from the Well Said die set and finished by adding Clear Rhinestones.

The second card was just as easy to make. I used a layer of Coastal Cabana card stock on top of a layer of Basic Gray card stock. To add color to the DSP panel, I sponged Coastal Cabana ink intensifying the color as I moved from top to bottom. The sentiment strip was made using the Triple Banner punch. I finished off with a flower made using the Daisy and Medium Daisy punches. The center of the flower is an embellishment I purchased from a local craft store.
