Friendly Hello – Love and Support

Life happens to all of us. I like to have a few cards on hand to let those who are dear to me know that I’m here for them. The sentiment in the Friendly Hello stamp set is just perfect for that.

Here’s a closer look at some of the elements on the card. I didn’t want a completely black and white card, but I didn’t want to add another color, so I heat embossed the bird and branch in silver.

A Closer Look

Elegance Made Easy

Here’s how to recreate this card.

To start, cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Basic Black card stock and add it to a card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.

Next, emboss a 4 ” x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and add it to the card.

Stamp the flowers in the corners of a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Basic White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink; and stamp the bird between them in VersaMark and emboss using Silver embossing powder.

Use Petal Pink ink to stamp the sentiment and color the center of all the flowers with a Dark Petal Pink Blends marker.

Mount the panel onto the embossed panel of the card using Foam Adhesive Sheet cut to size.

Finish by adding a bow made with Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon to the card with Mini Glue Dot.
