Story of Elegance
Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I really like black and white cards and pretty fonts, so today I’m sharing a sentiment set that is full of beautiful fonts. And I’m using the set to make a super simple black and white card. The name of the stamp set is Heartfelt Wishes. These sentiments are so elegant, they get to be the star of the show.
Look at these lovely sentiments!
I really like how easily this card came together and the results are – — well, you can be the judge. 🙂
Here is a closer look at the partial embossing.
Elegance Made Easy
I used the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a portion of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Basic White card stock and stamped the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
I added a piece of Black Glittered Organdy ribbon above the sentiment and adhered to a panel of Basic Black card stock cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, and then to the card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.
To finish I added a bow and Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
I embossed the flap to match.
This same design can be used to create a card or invitation for New Years just by changing the sentiment!

Sheryl,
This is a beautifully made simple and elegant card. Just my style. I’m not into layering up cards, so this one really speaks to me. Worth casing.
Thank you for the inspiration. Red and white would be pretty too!
Beth
Thank you Beth! Sounds like we’re card making kindred spirits. 🤗. The more cards I make the move I gravitate to simple design. I appreciate the feedback and am quite complimented that you would consider casing. Have a great weekend!
