Today I’m jumping all the way to the end of summer and working with one of the new bundles in the July – December 2022 , the Hello Harvest Bundle. I really like fall and I like bling, so I thought, why not put them together? So I did.
Here’s what I created.
Hello Harvest
Heat embossing is front and center with this shiny Harvest greeting. I stamped and embossed the sunflowers twice and added and embossed sentiment to complete the look of the card front.
A Closer Look
Elegance Made Easy
Following are the quick steps to recreate this card.
First, make your cuts:
- Very Vanilla card stock – 3 1/2″ x 5″ (trim just under these dimensions )
- Pumpkin Pie card stock – 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and 1 7/8″ for sentiment
- Die cuts:
- Pumpkin from stamp set stamped onto the sentiment card stock in Pumpkin Pie ink
- Use the largest frame from the Fabulous Frames die set to cut a frame using Pumpkin Pie card stock
- Cut 4 pieces of vine using Gold Foil
Heat emboss two floral images onto the piece of Very Vanilla card stock, and the sentiment onto the die cut pumpkin using Gold embossing powder.
Add the completed pumpkin in the center of the Very Vanilla panel.
Use Foam Adhesive Strips on the back of the die cut frame to add the completed Very Vanilla panel to it.
Adhere the frame to the front of a card base made with Thick Very Vanilla card stock.
Add the die cut vines to each of the four corners.
Complete by stamping and embossing the inside panel and the envelope front and flap; then add a bow made with Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged ribbon.
