Story of Elegance
It’s Friday! Woo hoo! I’ve been a little under the weather this week, but fortunately not to the point that I was unable to make my way to my craft room. Whew!
I knew that I wouldn’t be able to spend much time for today’s post, so it’s Paper Pumpkin to the rescue. My May Paper Pumpkin arrived yesterday, just in time to give me a little crafting boost. Paper Pumpkin provides a quick way for me to get cards completed and ready for mailing.
In case you’ve forgotten, here are the contents of the May 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.
This beautiful kit features our new 2020/2022 In Colors and has everything I need to craft these sweet cards. The time consuming work has already been done. All I have to do is put them together. How easy is that?
Here are the kit designs:
This month’s kit makes four of each of three designs. You can have 12 cards ready fast! And with pre-decorated envelopes, your fun creation has an added pop of color!
One of the nice things about Paper Pumpkin is you have loads of options for crafting. You can make the cards as they come or you can add your own twist to them. I love adding other products that I already own to make cards just a little different. Here are two variations that I created in a manner of minutes.
For Alternate #1, added an embossed panel of card stock and a little pink rhinestone gem in the center of the flowers. The second alternate uses two of the card bases – one to make the Purple Posy panel, and the other to create the three striped layers. I die cut the Purple Posy panel with the stitched rectangle dies to mimic the stitching in the cloud. The flowers are made with the second part of the card base and the Small Blooms punch. Basic Pearls make the center of the flowers.
