Welcome to InKing Royalty’s January Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are enjoying a year of celebrations. This month’s projects celebrate Valentine’s Day, so prepare yourself for lots of hearts and beautiful showcases of love. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Story of Elegance
I have always loved Valentine’s Day. What’s not to love about a day the celebrates Love, right? I’m a firm believer that Love knows no boundaries, so you don’t need a spouse, partner, significant other, boyfriend or girlfriend to celebrate the day. I say – A Valentine for anyone that you love or care about is always on point. With that in mind, I’ve created a few Valentine’s Day cards that I’ll be sending to some of my loved ones this year.
I opted to go with a non-traditional color for this first card. I wanted something pretty and elegant so I chose to use the Parisian Flourish embossing folder to create the perfect backdrop for the layered hearts. The sentiment was a whiz to put together using our new Heart Punch pack; a duo of straight-edged and scalloped hearts that are perfect for layering. The snip of beautiful scrolled paper is from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper.
These next two cards I created using the new Detailed Hearts dies. So beautiful and so easy.
Isn’t this paper gorgeous? I think so! It’s one of the fabulous choices in our new Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper collection.
Pink and white is so soft and dainty. Our Petal Pink and Whisper White card stock come together beautifully on this card. A strip of Silver Metallic Edged ribbon and a few pink pearls add the perfect finishing touch.

Awww… Thank you Sheryl! I’m so happy that you like them!
I love all of these but especially the first one. The soft colors are perfect. And it must have been my phone causing an issue this morning.
Thank you Jackie! Nope. It wasn’t your phone. My button was white – Yikes! Thanks for the heads up. It would have stayed that way all day otherwise.
These cards are gorgeous and have that true Victorian feel. Thank you for sharing such amazing cards on the hop today!
Thank you Pam! I just love all the new products and the Parisian Flourish embossing folder is one of my favorites.
Your cards a re gorgeous. I loved the first one in the non-traditional colors, and then kept gasping and sighing as I saw the additional cards. Thanks for sharing your beautiful projects. Happy Valentine’s Day.
Ohhhh Linda! How kind!!! Thank you!
These cards are all so very pretty! WOW was my response when I saw the first one, and all the others are sure to be loved as well. I really like the white on white hearts cards.
Oh my goodness Sue, thank you soooo much for your kind words. I’m so happy that you like them. I just love making cards. It’s especially gratifying when others like what you do, especially when they’re as talented as you.
