Story of Elegance

Happy Friday ya’ll!  It’s hard to believe that we are beyond the middle of the month already.  It seems that we were just singing Auld Lang Syne….. As the saying goes, Time Flies When You’re Having Fun.  And I’ve been having a ton of fun playing with the new Honey Bee bundle and the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I like bees.  Well, let me correct that statement.  I like them as long as they are not swarming around me or my hummingbird feeder.   But the bees in this delightful set are truly an exception.  They are sooo cute!  Here’s what I did with the bundle (Honey Bee stamp set and Detailed Bees dies).

Hello greeting card with bees featuring Stampin' Up products

Quick and Easy Hello

Two simple layers – one of Basic Black card stock and the other of Golden Honey Specialty DSP make it super easy to create this fun card.  I die cut the flower 3 times and stacked them to add dimension  The sentiment is stamped onto white card stock and both layers were cut using the Classic Label punch.  I finished the card with a band and bow made from Gold Shimmer ribbon.

Here the same print DSP was used and adhered with foam dimensional tape to a layer of striped DSP.  Dies were used to cut the bee in Gold foil and a strip of it was added across the printed DSP.   I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White card stock and  cut  both panels using Layering Squares dies.

As a reminder, our Golden Honey Designer Series Paper is Free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration while supplies last.  To check out other goodies that you can get free with purchase, click below.

The final card for this week focuses on the lovely dies that are part of the Detailed Bees die set.

The Hammered Metal embossing folder created beautiful texture and backdrop for the die cuts on this card.  The bee hive and sentiment were stamped with Golden Glitz Delicata ink.  The bee, honeycomb and accents are all Gold foil.

I hope that you enjoyed viewing today’s cards.  I’ll be back on Tuesday and I hope you will be too.  Have a wonderful weekend.  Until then,

Live Graciously!
