Story of Elegance
Happy Tuesday! I love card crafting because no matter the weather, I can always create my own sunshine. That’s exactly what I did with today’s cards. I used the stamps and dies from the Peaceful Poppies Suite and the gorgeous new Sending Flowers dies to create the two cards that I’m sharing today.
The strips of color are from the Subtles 6×6 Designer Series Paper and the solid strip of Highland Heather card stock was embossed using the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder. Whisper White and Gorgeous Grape card stock were cut using the Poppy Moments die set to create the flower and leaves. I used a die from the Painted Labels die set to create the swirled circle . The sentiment panel was cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies. All are layered on top of a 4 x 5 1/4 inch panel of card stock embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.
Here’s a closer look at the layers.
And of course, the card with a coordinating envelope.
Oh, have you heard the news?! Stampin’ Up! will be releasing a new set of products on February 4th that coordinate with products from our Sale-A-Bration catalog and our new mini-catalog!! I’ve had a chance to play with some of the new products and I’ll share one of the cards I made using the new Sending Flowers dies that are part of the new release. These coordination products will only be available for a limited time. So you’ll want to be sure to order when the products are available next month. Mark your calendars now so that you don’t forget. Here’s a sweet little birthday card I made using the new Sending Flowers die set that coordinates beautifully with the Sending You Thoughts stamp set from Sale-A-Bration. This die set is extraordinary and my head is spinning with ideas on how to use it. Expect to see more of this die next week. 🙂
This cute sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set can be used for many occasions but I opted for a birthday. Isn’t this die adorable? I love all the texture and dimension you get from just a single cut. I layered the die cut panel atop a sheet of lovely paper from the Parisian Blossoms designer series paper set. The sentiment panels were cut from Whisper White and Pool Party card stock using dies from Painted Labels die set. I added a little shimmer to each bloom with Clear Wink of Stella and a few gems for a little extra bling.
PSA: We all need cards for various occasions. Contact me to order your own set of beautifully hand-crafted cards! You’ll be glad you did!
I hope that you’ll come back on Friday. I’ll give you a little hint — I’m using these colors.
Until then,
Live Graciously!
