Story of Elegance

We can all use a little encouragement sometimes.  Whether you’re a little under the weather, feeling under appreciated, or just in need of a kind word, a card can be just what the doctor ordered.  Receiving a thoughtful card can may any day, even a not-so-good day, seem a seem  just a little brighter.  I like to keep a stock of cards that encourage on hand to send out a quick word of encouragement at a moments notice.

As I worked to replenish my stash, I went straight to a pair of our new products.  The Positive Thoughts stamp set and the coordinating  Nature’s Thoughts die set paired perfectly for today’s cards.

My color inspiration for today is Purple Posy and Blackberry Bliss.  Stampin’ Up! has so many gorgeous colors and I love experimenting with them to create fun pairings.

Take a peek at what I crafted today.

My first card is a get well card.  I love the fonts in this set and the sentiments are so sweet!

Positive Thoughts Get Well

The card base is Blackberry Bliss and the embossed panel is Stylish Scroll (retired.)  I like to use retired products in my posts on occasion to remind you that our products can continue to be used for years after they are no longer available for purchase.  The floral strip of DSP is from our new Best Dressed set of papers.  All the elements are die cuts from the Nature’s Thoughts die set.

Card and Coordinating Envelope

This next card is  a Thinking of You card for a friend, and I thought the feather was perfect for the sentiment.  I stamped them in Blackberry Bliss using the stamp-off technique and used both Blackberry Bliss and Purple Posy markers to create the accent dots.

Positive Thoughts Friendship

Here’s a closer look.  You can see the Purple Posey colored gems on each feather.

Card with coordinating envelope

I love the sentiment on these last two cards .  You can never have too many hugs or prayers or too much love.

Before I go, I need to say a word about the Nature’s Thoughts Die Set.  These dies are part of our New Product Coordination set that will be available for purchase on February 4, 2020.  The products in this release are made specifically to coordinate with items in our new Mini Catalog and our Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Click on the image below for more details.
