Story of Elegance
I love black and white and I especially love them together. That is the color palette I chose for today’s cards, and as the title says they are all Birthday cards.
All of today’s cards feature the beautiful papers in the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper. I have featured these papers in recent posts, and I just can’t seem to put them down. I love all the beautiful DSP that Stampin’ Up offers, and when I can get it FREE, I love it even more! This paper is one of several options available with a $50 purchase.
Golden Honey Specialty DSP
I’ve made cute little flowers for my first two cards using the Small Blooms punch. This punch is another of the options that are available FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a purchase. And I saved time by punching the flowers from the DSP.

DSP is layered with Basic Black card stock. The background panel is embossed with the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder.

I went with a card base of Basic Black card stock and added a strip of Gold foil to hold the punched flowers for this card.

I used the Layering Squares dies for the sentiment panels on the first three cards. The Subtle Embossing folder that I used on the strip of Basic Black panel gives more texture. The Silver card stock panels add just a touch of sparkle.

Our new Absolutely Argyle embossing folder creates a gorgeous backdrop for this simple card. It’s brimming with texture and I love it! The sentiment panel is a layered using the Tailored Tag punch.
