Story of Elegance

Happy Friday!   I’m happy that you stopped by to see today’s project.

Today I’ve created a card that is a hybrid of the card I posted on Tuesday and the card I made for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop on Wednesday.  As the title shares, I’m still focusing on the beautiful flowers you can create using the Bloom Hybrid embossing folder.

If you missed my blog on Tuesday, a hybrid embossing folder is designed to both emboss and cut when used with a coordinating die.

Here’s the picture I shared  of the Bloom Hybrid embossing folder along with coordinating die from the Bloom die set.

Here are the cards from Tuesday and Wednesday.

For today’s card I mixed the design of Wednesday and replaced the stars with the flowers from Wednesday.

Bloom Hybrid Birthday

I really love how easy it is to create beautiful flowers with this hybrid embossing folder.  I added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to each flower to add a bit of visual interest.

Elegance Made Easy

Regardless of what you’re doing, having the right tools makes the doing easier.  I love my Stampin’ Up! products because they make it so easy to create lovely cards.  You can do so much more that create cards with our products, but it’s what I love to do with them.

Cut a  4 1/8″ x  5 7/8″ panel of Coastal Cabana card stock and adhere it to a card base  made with Thick Basic White card stock. Cut  a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock  Cut two pieces of Coastal Cabana card stock, 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ and 2″ x 5 1/4″ and emboss them using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

Add  an Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Basic White card stock and cut 3 pieces that are 1/8″ x 6″.  Adhere the strips to the panels as shown and trim off the excess.  Adhere both panels to the Basic White card stock panel, leaving a 1″ gap between them.  panel.

Using Bloom Hybrid Folder and coordinating die,  cut and emboss the 3 flowers.   Brush each of the flowers with Clear Wink of Stella and add a Matte Black Dot embellishment to the center of each flower.  Adhere to the panel using Stampin Dimensionals.

For the sentiment panel, stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White card stock and cut to 1″ x 1 3/4″.  Adhere to the larger panel.  I used the happy birthday sentiment from the Shaded Summer stamp set.

To finish the project emboss the envelope flap to match and you are done.  Another  easy, elegant card in the books.
