Happy Tuesday Ya’ll!

On Monday when I was crafting today’s cards it was gray and raining – – a great day to be indoors. I took advantage of my time to create a few note cards for friends using the beautiful From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper and various punches from Stampin’ Up!

This paper is so bright and festive. It’s not just for Valentine’s Day either. Take a look at what I cooked up.

Paper and punches make it so easy for me to create cards. And of course the beautiful papers and punches that Stampin’ Up! offers, make it all the easier. For the card, above, I layered DSP onto Grapefruit Grove card stock. I used the Daisy punch and the Medium Daisy punch to create the flower with Grapefruit Grove and Poppy Parade card stock; and an In Color faceted Dot makes a pretty center. The sentiment label was punched using the Triple Banner punch and stamped with Poppy Parade Ink.

For this next card, I layered a punched panel onto a panel of DSP. I used the Beautifully Braided punch to punch the twists in the card stock and stamped the twist design and sentiment using stamps from the Beautifully Braided stamp set. I accented the braids with a few colored rhinestones.

Punch, punch, stamp and Done! That is literally all it took to create this next card. I used the DSP and a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock for this beauty. Since it was raining out, the stamp and sentiment from the Under My Umbrella stamp set along with the Umbrella Builder punch seemed perfect. I added Stampin’ Dimensional for a little text under the sentiment panel and the umbrella. Super easy – super cute!
