Where did the week go? It’s Friday – Yay! And it’s Valentine’s Day – double bonus. Happy Valentine’s Day to you! Valentine’s Day came early for me and my friends at my February card class. Look at these beautiful women and their striking smiles. (I think their Valentines Day cards are gorgeous too! ) We had such a fun time making cards, munching treats and spending time together. A FUNday indeed!

Birthdays abound so I’m sharing a birthday car today. I loved making it because it was quick and easy to make. A few die cuts and embellishments, paper trims, embossing, a stamp and they are ready to go! Embossing folders are a simple way to get beautiful texture in your card creations.
This card features embossing with the Basket Weave folder. I backed the Designer Series Paper and sentiment panels with Gold Foil paper. The sentiment panel was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink with a stamp from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set.
