Story of Elegance

Good morning!!   I’m super excited about the new products that will be available beginning March 3rd.  March marks the last month of Sale-A-Bration, so if you’ve been waiting to take advantage of the great products that you can get FREE with purchase, don’t wait too long.  The free items are available only while supplies last.

With today’s cards I’m giving you a sneak peek at the gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) available during Sale-A-Bration next month.  These papers have beautiful Rose Gold and Silver patterns and I’ll be showing them off on my blog posts today and Friday.

Isn’t this paper stunning?  To create this card, I layered Rose Gold and Silver foil under a raised panel of the beautiful Flowering Foils DSP.  I die cut the Happy BIrthday sentinment with dies of the same name.  To help the sentiment pop, I used both silver and rose gold foil, and stacked them together.  A few Clear rhinestones finish this beauty.

I drew my inspiration for this card from the Everything Is Rosy product medley.  I love these colors together, and the combination is stunning with the Flowering Foils paper.  To create this card, I layered a panel of Night of Navy Card stock with an embossed panel of Blushing Bride card stock.  I created the sentiment panel with a stamp from  Layered with Kindness  and the Label Me Lovely punch.

A closer look

Here’s a closer look at the sentiment panel.  I used the dies from Detailed Bands for the leaves.  The rhinestone embellishment is one that I found at a local craft store.

I hope that you loved today’s cards.  And more importantly, I hope that you are inspired to create cards of your own.  If you want more inspiration, come back TOMORROW where you will find a stop on the monthly InKing Royalty blog hop.  You won’t want to miss the beautiful creations of this talented group.

I’ll see you tomorrow.  Until then,

Live Graciously!
