Story of Elegance

Happy Tuesday!   Thank you for stopping by.

We’re only one day from the official start of Autumn and nothing says Autumn like pumpkins.  I’ve already started celebrating with my pumpkin spice coffee and bagels.  Yummy!

I’m still playing with the Pretty Pumpkins bundle, but this time I decided to go with non-traditional fall colors and a mix of old and new products.  Here’s what I came up with.

Friendship card and coordinating envelope made with Stampin' Up! products

Pretty Pumpkins Friendship

I created a little pumpkin patch with a trio of pumpkins and added a little dimension with heat embossing and dimensionals.

A closer look shows the pretty copper heat embossing on the center pumpkin.

A Closer Look

Elegance Made Easy

To recreate this card,  cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Blushing Bride  card stock and adhere to a card base made of Thick Basic White card stock.

Cut a piece of Basic White card stock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and use a Blending Brush to add Blushing Bride ink to the upper third of the card.

Next, stamp and die cut two pumpkins using Blushing Bride ink.  Then, stamp a pumpkin in VersaMark and heat emboss with Copper embossing powder.  Die cut the embossed pumpkin.  Adhere the three pumpkins to the inked card stock.

Add a piece of Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon (retired) to the bottom portion of the card panel and adhere to the card base.

Stamp the sentiment in Memento Black ink  and a flower in Blushing Bride and die cut using Stitched Nested labels dies (retired.)

Add a Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dot to the flower and attach to the card, centering it on the ribbon.

Use a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to add accents on the card and sentiment panel.
