Story of Elegance

Happy Friday!

I hope that you have had a fantastic week!

As I shared on Tuesday, today’s card is the second card I’m sharing from the batch that I made earlier in the week with the Ranunculus Romance stamp set.

Like Tuesday’s card, I am pairing the stamp set with another of the papers in the beautiful Symbols of Fortune Designer Series Paper (DSP.)

Here is the second creation.

Ranunculus Romance Hello #2

The Smokey Slate and gold foiling in this paper is really pretty. and so it’s easy to let it do the work.  I just designed everything else to match.

Here’s a closer look.

A Closer Look

Elegance Made Easy

Here’s how to recreate this card.

To start, cut a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Gold Foil and add it to a card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.

Next, cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″  piece of Symbols of Fortune card stock and wrap a 7″ strip of Smokey Slate Textured ribbon along the left side.  Adhere to the foil panel on the card.

Use the Layering Oval die set to cut a scalloped circle in Gold Foil and smaller oval in Basic White card stock.  Stamp the flower in Smokey Gray ink onto the Basic White oval.  Adhere the stamped oval to the scalloped oval  and then add to the card.

Stamp the Hello sentiment onto a scrap piece of Basic White card stock  in Smokey Gray ink.  Cut a piece of gold foil to frame the stamped sentiment.   To finish add gold embellishments to which you added  Clear Basic Rhinestones to the centers to the Smokey Slate ribbon a shown.  The gold embellishments are leftovers from Paper Pumpkin kits.
