Story of Elegance
Well, yes I’ll admit, it is a little early for Yuletide Cheer. But, anytime is the right time to create with the new Frosted Foliage bundle from Stampin’ Up! This lovely holiday bundle is comprised of the Frosted Foliage stamp set and the Frosted Frames dies. Often, you’ll find this bundle coupled with our beautiful Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper and paired you can definitely create stunning cards. However, today I have opted to let this bundle stand on its own. Let’s take a look:
It is so much fun to send a card ” just because,” This simple card fits the bill nicely and comes together in minutes. I had my Mom in mind when I created this cute little card – hence the Scarlet and Gray. In Stampin’ Up! terms that translates to Real Read and Basic Gray. Doesn’t this remind you of a warm winter sweater? My next card is also ready in a jiff.
The snowflake stamp in the Frosted Foliage stamp set creates a gorgeous wintry background for this card. I created this background by stamping directly onto the Whisper White card base in basic gray. Similarly, the Yuletide Cheer sentiment was stamped in basic gray and layered with cut squares using the Layering Squares die set. Foil cut snowflakes from the Frosted Frames die set and a few silver embellishments finish it off. Stamp, Cut, Embellish. Done,
The last card features Seaside Spray ink, card stock, ribbon, and of course snowflakes.
Stampin’ Up products are so easy to use. It’s simple to create beautiful cards in minutes. A few quick cuts using the Frosted Frames die set, a stamped sentiment and ribbon make quick work of this holiday card. If you haven’t tried stamping – you absolutely must give it a try!
