Story of Elegance
Welcome to a new week!
I hope that you’ve had a great weekend and managed to stay healthy, safe and warm.
For my card today, I’m still playing with the Friendly Hello Stamp set. I love that you can get so many different looks with this stamp set. And don’t forget, you get this stamp set bundled with beautiful Designer Series Paper FREE with a purchase of $100.
Here is today’s card:
Friendly Hello BirthdaySeveral of my friends really like black and white cards, so I made this card with them in mind.
I had the Expressions in Ink Emphmera pack laying on my table from another project, so I picked it up and chose the hexagon to work with. I heat-embossed in gold over the shape.
Elegance Made Easy Here’s how to recreate this card.
To start, cut a 4 1/8″ x 53/8″ piece of Basic Black card stock and add it to a card base made with Thick Basic White card stock.
Next, use the Scalloped Contours dies to cut the background panel in Basic White. Add the hexagon from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack and add to the center of the die cut.
Stamp the flowers randomly across and around the hexagon in VersaMark ink and heat emboss in gold. Add the die cut background panel to the DSP panel.
For the sentiment, stamp the birthday sentiment from the Friendly Hello stamp set onto a piece of Basic White card stock. Die cut the embossed sentiment using the hexagon shape from the Beautiful Shapes die set. Trim the top an bottom and adhere to the center of the hexagon using Dimensionals.
Finish by using the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to make dots around the embossed flower petals. And Finis!
