Story of Elegance
Happy Friday! I’m so happy to end the week sharing more card crafting fun. I’m particularly excited today to share new products that will debut next month in our 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. Over the next few posts I’ll be giving you teeny peeks into some of what you’ll see when you get your happy hands on our gorgeous new catalog. Without a doubt, I know you are gonna love it!
Okay, so let’s get started. Today I created my card using items from the new Forever Fern Bundle comprised of the Forever Fern Stamp Set and Forever Flourishing Dies. Next month, you’ll save 10% by purchasing these items together as a bundle.
Drum roll please…………
If you love leaves, you will love this set! The stamps feature our trademarked DistINKtive stamps. These stamps give you photo-realistic style images and their special texture give added depth and dimension in a single step. And look at all the coordinating dies. There are 14 of these beauties! Take a closer look at the detail in these dies. Such great texture.
For today I focused on one die and one stamp from this bundle. Just enough to whet your appetite. There’s plenty more in store next month.
Pretty Peacock is such a lovely color and it’s perfect for this card. I stamped the leaves and sentiment onto a single panel. Then I die cut leaves in card stock and vellum. The leaves are tied together with silver cording and the entire panel is placed atop and embossed panel for Pretty Peacock card stock. Sweet. Simple. Elegant. Just my style!
Here’s a closer look at the beautiful DistINKtive stamp.
A closer look.
Isn’t that imagery gorgeous?! I think so too!

So pretty Sheryl. I love that suite of products and how you used them. The vellum is such a nice add.
This card is beautiful and elegant. Your design is exquisite. I would love to copy it if that is okay. I hope your business is doing well. Mine has tapered off and I may just become a hobbyist again.
Hi Kay!
Of course, you can CASE away! Thank you for the kind words. My business is in a bit of a lull. Not growing and not declining. I’ve been away from my business and craft room for a couple of weeks. Excited to get back in the saddle this weekend and see how things go.
Hang in there. Don’t give up. You may get a new customer out of the blue like I did to keep you motivated.
Have a great weekend!
hI! New admirer of your work from South Dakota here. ? I think your Forever Fern card is just lovely and I would love to CASE if that is ok with you. Would definitely give you credit.
I do have a question or two : Are the white (or vanilla?) leaves on bottom layer vellum or cardstock?
Is the embossing on the side piece from an emb.folder or a couple of the dies?
Can you tell me the size of the top vanilla layer with the leaves on it?
Sorry to be such a bother but I just love the card so want to duplicate as closely as I can! You are very talented!!
Hi Katie! Thanks for the feedback and your kind words. I’m so glad you stopped by and that you like my card. You are always welcome to CASE anything that I post. I’m honored that you would want to do so!
To answer your questions: The bottom layer of leaves are vellum. The embossing on the side is from the Greenery embossing folders and the strip measures 2″ x 5 1/2″. The sentiment panel measures 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.
Enjoy!
