Story of Elegance
It’s Tuesday! Yay! I’ll bet you are wondering what is so special about today. Well, I’ll tell you nothing, really and in these days, that is everything! I have all of the essential needs, so I can’t complain. THAT is a blessing. I realize not everyone can say that. I’m blessed and so thankful.
I am continuing to send cards everyday. For me, it’s so important to do whatever I can to bring a smile. I can’t do all the things that I would like, but this I CAN do. So my Hello card for today uses a variety of products – all with a floral theme, of course.
A Floral Hello
This lovely card could easily be crafted for a wedding or bridal shower by simply changing the sentiment.
Products:
- Stamp sets: Magnolia Blooms (flower) – Good Morning Magnolia (sentiment)
- Card Stock: Thick Very Vanilla – Very Vanilla – Petal Pink
- Die: Detailed Floral (bottom border) – Retired
- Punch: Label Me Fancy (sentiment)
- Ink: Petal Pink – Pear Pizzazz – Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend
- Embellishments: Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon – Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Envelope: Whisper White medium
Although the Detailed Floral die set is retired, I still like to showcase it because it is so gorgeous. Like all Stampin’ Up! products, the set is very lovely and versatile. I also like to showcase retired products periodically to highlight the fact that a purchase can last for years and years. You can continue to craft with our dies long after the sales period ends.
With this die you can create an inlaid die cut by using it without the trim strip.
By adding the trim piece, you can create a die cut that can be added to card as I have done with this card.
