Story of Elegance

Happy Tuesday!

I hope that you had a wonderful Easter weekend and that your week is off to a good start.

Well, it’s that time of year – Sneak Peek time!  A chance to get tiny look at the fabulous new products that will join the line next month with the launch of our new Annual Catalog.

I’m telling you now, get your pen and paper ready because you’ll need lots of room for your wish list this year!

Today, I’m sharing a card made with some of the products from the Hues of Happiness Product Suite.

The Suite is comprised of the Happiness Abounds stamp set, Blossoming Happiness dies, Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and the Glossy Dots Assortment.   I used everything except the Glossy Dots Assortment for this card.

Here’s what I made.

Birthday Card made with Stampin' Up! products

Hues of Happiness Birthday

Isn’t this paper just gorgeous?  I love the colors!  And I used one of the leaf dies from the Blossoms of Happiness die set to cut out leaves in the paper.  Some of the dies also cut flowers in the DSP, but I didn’t use any of the flower dies to cut DSP for this project.  The die cut flowers on the card are stamped and die cut.

The white band across the center of the card was die cut using one of the dies in the Blossoming Happiness die set, and the sentiment was cut using one the the dies in the New Stylish Shapes die set.

I hope you enjoyed this Sneak Peek.  I’ll share another Peek on Friday.

As a final note about this card, I used the Bough punch and Wink of Stella for the leaves that weren’t die cut, and the embellishments I used are the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels that will only be available while supplies last.   They are shown below as part of the Waves of the Ocean collection.  See below for details on these pretty embellishments.
